Description

In the heart of Makkah stands a sacred house—the Kaaba. It is not just any building. It is the compass of worship built to. worship Allah. Since then, Muslims from all over the world have turned their hearts and prayers toward the Kaaba. Five times a day, millions face it in salah, no matter where they are.

“Our Lord, accept this from us. Indeed, You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.”
(Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:127)

Long ago, Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) and his son, Ismail (peace be upon him) raised its walls together. With every stone they placed, they made du’a and said: Nearby is the Maqam Ibrahim, where Prophet Ibrahim stood while building the Kaaba. And beside it is the Hijr Ismail, a small curved wall marking a special space of mercy. The Kaaba is more than a place. It is the centre of our unity. It is a symbol of our love for Allah.

As you colour this Sejadah, know that every time you pray, your heart connects to the Kaaba—just like millions of other little Mu’mins across the world.
